Fairbanks Environmental has been crowned winner in the Service Business of the Year category at the 2017 Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs).
Nine representatives from Fairbanks, including Steve Jones, Business Unit Director Global Wetstock Management, attended the awards dinner and ceremony held at Blackpool Tower Ballroom on Friday 15th September, in order to receive the prestigious award.
The BIBAs is run by the North-West Chamber of Commerce and is Lancashire’s largest, longest running and most rigorous awards, with a three-stage selection process involving a written essay application, interviews and judge visits.
In addition to Service Business of the Year, Fairbanks was also nominated to win in the Exporter of the Year category, but was beaten to the top by Scorpion Automative, based in Chorley.
Steve Jones said: “Winning this prestigious accolade is a very proud moment in the company’s 21-year history.”
